Our Legacy
Society Established
The Shri Parshwanath Jain Boarding Education and Miscelleneous (S.P.J.B.E.M.) Society was founded in 1918 with a noble vision of making quality education accessible to all sections of society in Athani and surrounding regions. The founding members, driven by the Jain principles of knowledge, compassion, and service, laid the groundwork for what would become one of the most respected educational institutions in the region. Their commitment to affordable, values-based education continues to guide our mission more than a century later.
School Established
Building on the Society's decades-long legacy of educational service, the S.P.J.B.E.M. CBSE School was established in 2004 to provide Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum in Athani. The school opened its doors with a vision of combining national-level academic standards with the Society's core values of accessible, holistic education. From its inception, the school has focused on creating well-rounded individuals equipped with strong academic foundations, moral values, and the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly competitive world.
